This ontop of my wife getting my job at my previous work I left awhile ago and getting paid way more because she has a degree (in a fully unrelated field mind you) has made me so angry at college lol (happy for her obviously)Īnyone else here ever been in a similar situation of just going "this is some fucking bull shit?" I am just feeling like this whole process is some straight BS from my HR requirements to the school itself. Anyways, I started going back to school last semester and am currently doing summer courses and I am learning NOTHING of relevance and I am taking management classes for some fucking reason in a Simulation & Game Design program? I also have to pay them to show them my portfolio which will only let me skip a grand total of 2 classes.
I am not saying college is a scam for everything, but in my particular case I feel like money is just being succed out of me and I am learning NOTHING.įor some context I have been working in VR Development for 6+ years at this point, but my new job won't pay me my full wage until I get my bachelors (I do get back pay and I already have my Associates) because of a standard they have for the doctors and surgeons, they are paying roughly 75% of my total tuition when all is said and done which is nice, but I still need to pay a hefty fee and I feel like my experience should speak more than a paper, considering I am ya know.already doing the job.
